CESPSI-PU works to promote social change and transformation through Research, Innovation and Practice. The Centre also serves as a catalyst for innovation and sustainable community development. This CESPSI Community Development Initiative (CCDI) establishes community foundations to impact the lives of youth and individuals in various communities. The initiative leverages local cultures and communities to amplify collective impact and influence towards significant and sustainable change.
For many Americans and Africans, faith plays a major role in their desire to give and serve. There are many ways of giving to support the cause and social ministry of various Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs), most especially through their philanthropy or non-profit organization.
As an initiative of the Centre for Strategic Philanthropy and Social Investment (CESPSI) Pentecost University and the FaithImpact-Global Faith-Based Organisations Philanthropy and Social Investment Forum, the #iGiveFBOPhilanthropy is a global online giving event that provides FBOs, schools, ministries and non-profit the opportunity to connect with donors and establish relationship with new donors. On Giving Tuesday 2024, the fundraising goal is $10M to support pressing needs of children and youth in FBOs Philanthropic operational communities and special transformational ministry support activities including support to vulnerable children, children and youth living with disability, mental health, prisoners, orphanages etc.
